As a major international player in lighting and luminaires, we pride ourselves on catering for every requirement. Which is why we've developed a new, fully modular concept: luminaires with an integrated charging feature. We've added a new twist to our proven wind- and weather-proof outdoor light columns and bollards, turning them into hybrid products with architecturally appealing and calibration-compliant charging options for both public and private electric vehicles.
Our hybrid solution: all-in-one lighting and charging
We've added state-of-the-art charging technology to our tried and tested Made in Bamberg lighting solutions. RZB ENERGY works with experienced partners such as Phoenix Contact, Wago and Monta to guarantee lasting quality, flawless operation and excellent customer support. Our versatile portfolio also includes a wall box, specific products for underground parking areas, and customized solutions such as natural stone columns with an integrated charging feature.
All RZB ENERGY products are available in three main versions: BASIC, SMART and PRO. All versions include load protection, DC fault detection and RFID access control, with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW. The expansion stages include additional functions and connectivity options such as wireless connection and OCPP interfaces. What's more, to make life easier and save time, all versions can be supplied with a pre-installed type 2 charging cable instead of the standard type 2 socket so that users don't need their own charging cable.
Integrating e-mobility into architectural concepts
Charging in the light – literally and figuratively! From an architectural standpoint, RZB ENERGY's products are ideal for any building complex with parking areas. They not only provide a consistent look and feel but also dispense with the need to install separate lighting and charging points. Likewise, urban planners now have the perfect combination of standards-compliant lighting and charging-infrastructure expansion at their disposal for inner-city locations. This is a win-win for all concerned: why coordinate multiple works when you can use a single conduit to install lights and charging stations in one step? It's cheaper, faster and simpler for contracting authorities and installers alike. Residents and users will benefit, too, because with charging capacities of up to 22 kW and a well-lit station, vehicle charging is easier, safer and quicker.
