On behalf of compamedia, the organiser of the TOP 100 innovation contest, the innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examined the innovative strength of the Bamberg based luminaire manufacturer. The researchers took as basis about 120 test criteria out of five categories: top management promoting innovations, climate of innovation, innovative processes and organisation, outward orientation/open innovation and success in innovations. Essential is the question whether innovations are the result of a systematic approach or a random product and whether innovative performance can be repeated.. Important is also whether and how respective solutions are accepted in the market. Due to the current situation this time there was a special additional section where the corporate response to the Corona crisis was examined.
